Michiganders are a loyal and prideful bunch. You have to be if you’re okay with freezing to death while scraping ice off your car in October! Okay, maybe this is just me! Michigan is a beautiful state and the more I travel the more I realize that I really love where I live and I’m okay with never moving to a warmer climate. Though I’m okay with visiting on occasion hot weather locations in say, February – I’ll keep my roots right here in Michigan, especially northern! What other state can carry their map on their hand or say they are surrounded by 5 of the greatest bodies of natural fresh water in the WORLD?
