Have you eaten Randall beans before? YUM and it is amazing how many things you can make with beans and my favorite it white bean chicken chili. The company is really something else because they were born in the great state of Michigan back in 1876 in Tekonsha, Michigan. Four generations the family owned company farmed great northern beans and then pinto beans and all packaged in glass jars. How many companies use glass jars nowadays? I love this about Randall beans because the jars can be recycled or easily reused and I’m not worried about the chemicals that are ordinarily in tin cans or plastic packaging.
The company is now owned by a new family but since 1876 it has only been owned by two loving families – which speak volumes. The company is no longer in Michigan, they moved to Cincinnati for production and packaging reasons but they’re still a Midwest company so hats off to them! After all Randall beans were born in the mitten state and I’m sure there the Randall family is alive and kicking here in Michigan hunting and spending time outdoors.
I’m thankful to the Randall family because I love their beans and they come fully cooked which makes my life easier, especially for camping. Check out my white chicken chili recipe and tell me, what do you like to cook with Randall beans?
A big thank you to Randall beans for helping to sponsor the Mitten Moms conference. Check them out on Facebook and Pinterest; you’ll love their recipes ideas.

Wow, thanks for the great blog on Randall Beans. I just wanted to let you know that are beans are still made in Tekonsha Michigan. My dad moved the headquarters to Cincinnati in 1974, back to my mom and dad’s hometown. Be safe assured, we will always be made in Michigan! Thanks and enjoy those beans.
Meredith, thank you for letting me know this and your support for the mid-west and Michigan! I appreciate your support for the Mitten Moms conference the first weekend of October!
